My Fave Super-Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies
½ cup, Butter (unsalted)
½ cup, Brown or Golden Sugar
½ cup, White Sugar
1 Egg (large)
1 tsp, Vanilla Extract
1¼ cup, All-Purpose Flour
1 tbsp, Corn Starch
½ tsp, Baking Soda
½ tsp, Salt
1½ cup, Chocolate Chips (milk chocolate, semi-sweet)
Cream the butter with both the sugars in a bowl until well combined and a bit fluffy. Then beat in the egg and the vanilla.
In a separate bowl sift the flour with the cornstarch, baking soda and salt. Add this to the butter mixture and stir until well blended.
Add in the chocolate chips.
Using a tablespoon (or an ice cream scooper) scoop out the dough and put on a baking pan/sheet greased with butter.
(optional: chill the scooped cookies for at least an hour)
Preheat the oven to 325oFahrenheit / 160o Celsius.
Once the oven is heated to the right temperature put the cookies in for 15 mins.
Take out, separate the cookies from the pan, let them cool for just a bit, and enjoy warm!!
