Chef Ahmed’s Roasted Tomato & Basil Soup

A message from Chef Ahmed:The first time I tried Tomato Soup I really loved it. We had it at The Grove (our favourite breakfast place in San Francisco).  We loved that restaurant so much we ate breakfast there every day we were in San Francisco! I tried to recreate the recipe yesterday and I think it turned out really good. Chef Ahmed's Homemade Hot Chocolate Recipe

There’s nothing better than hot chocolate in the winter, right?? I decided to try to learn a homemade recipe and wanted to share with you. Most of you guys were interested in learning this recipe too, so here it is.From: Chef Ahmed Ingredients:⅓ cups Unsweetened Cocoa Powder½ cup of White Sugar1 pinch of Salt½ cup boiling Water3 ½ cups of Milk½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract (brand: Simply Organic - non alcoholic)optional (but not really!) : Marshmallows, Whipped Cream, Chocolate Powder Method: Combine the cocoa powder, sugar and a pinch of salt in a saucepan. Cumin Lentil Soup

Fall is just around the corner, and you can already feel the air getting a bit cooler. I was craving something warm but not too heavy and this soup hit the spot perfectly.  It’s simple to make and a yummy recipe that the whole family enjoys. Cauliflower Fried Rice

Oh, Cauliflower Rice! Where have you been all my life?!? I don't know, maybe I'm just a bit late to the game, but I'm so glad I finally tried this delicious rice substitute! If you haven’t tried it yet, here's a super simple and flavourful way to prepare cauliflower rice and get a ton of veggies into your meal. You might even get lucky (like I did) and slip it by the kids without them realizing it isn't actually rice!  I chopped the cauliflower myself, but you can also just as easily pop it into a food processor to make small rice-sized pieces.  You can also find pre-cut bags of "cauliflower rice" in your produce section.
